I USED TO work at Australian Custom Cycles in Melbourne, with Geoff and Steve. I worked for them for two years. But then I met a lady who lived in Brisbane and I was travelling back and forth for 12 months. Wayne, who works at a bike shop in Brisbane, knew I was travelling back and forth, contacted me and told me they needed a workshop manager—the rest is history.

I had never been outside Melbourne before, I lived there all my life, and if you had told me two years ago that I would be living up here I would have said you were mad. I still miss Melbourne. I miss the cold sometimes.

This custom bike was built by Geoff and I at Australian Custom Cycles before I left. It started as a Hellbound Steel chopper from the States. Seb from Mordialloc Body Works in Melbourne repainted it. Geoff and I made the exhaust bars. I did all the wiring, and changed a few other bits and pieces including the front-end and brakes.
