Father & Son Project Harleys

Ozbike Podcast

THE passion for Harleys runs in this family’s blood, with this tough ‘Father and Son’ pair of Softails sounding like monsters rumbling down the road.

Peter’s Softail is a 2001 with a custom blue pearl paint job.

The engine was an 88 cube; this has had a big bore kit fitted with slight head work and S&S Easy Start cams. It’s got a Milwaukee re-jetted carby, BDL open two-inch belt drive, lowered with Fat 50’s spoke front and rear rims,  street slammer handlebars, braided lines, and Vance & Hines Short Shot pipes.

Nick, riding since he was 16, loving the look of his dad’s bike, got his own 2007 Softail custom; blue over silver pearl with pin stripe.

It’s got EFI with Dynojet tuner, Vance & Hines Big Radius pipes, BDL open two-inch belt drive, full braided lines, lowered, street slammer handlebars, Fat 50 front rim, and S&S Easy Start cams. Nick has been so meticulous that every nut and bolt is chromed.

They both love to ride, taking every opportunity to get the bikes out and enjoy that feeling of freedom that riding gives you.

Special thanks to Nick and the team from Pro Street Cycles, Lonsdale, SA. Photos by GCanatselis Photography.
