THIS CUSTOM XL1200 Harley-Davidson Sportster was put together by Gold Coast Harley-Davidson and a great job they did of it too. Apparently the guys in the workshop spent 18 hours on the labour putting the parts on. Total cost: $34,000.

I was visiting when I saw it parked in a corner, ready to be picked up. I just had to get some shots of it and talked the guys into pushing it outside into the sunshine.

I was told it was owned by a woman rider. I never got to meet her which is a shame, but I’m sure I’ll catch her one day if only so I can shake her hand.
