The House Harley-Davidson Night Rod

G’DAY. I’m finally back from visiting the in-laws and got my late Christmas present.

This is my second Harley-Davidson coming from superbikes. I decided it was time to slow down but ended up purchasing a new 2015 Night Rod from Sy’s Harley-Davidson.

I’ve always wanted to stand out from the crowd hence the custom pipes, seat and grips.

The DGD air-box, two-inch handlebars, HogPro light, 21-inch with wrap-around and, of course, airbags complete the look I’ve been wanting. All that was missing was an awesome paint job.

I gave Ila from House of Uso’s Custom Paint a call a few weeks out of Christmas and simply told him I love orange and to make it pop.

He used a number of different oranges including Lamborghini orange and different techniques to achieve what you see before you today; and he did in all within seven weeks, just in time for a RFS Fundraiser Show & Shine where it won Best Custom and Best Murals.
