I RESTORE cars for a living and a mate showed me a picture of sewing machine made into a tractor. It inspired me. I thought, I’d have a crack at that. So I picked up an old sewing machine and draw up a picture of a motorbike. Looked great. Anything is possible with a little bit of imagination.
I got hold of an old pram wheel and the wheel off an electric scooter. Yeah, that’ll work.

Next, I stripped my pocket bike for the running gear and used parts off a reduction gear setup for the exposed primary — it worked out well for the offset drive to the rear.
Everything else was made from scratch.
