Harley-Davidson V-Rod Night Rod 330

FRANCISCO (owner of LDK) received a call from a client in Mexico who wanted a special customised motorcycle, and after a discussion, they decided on a Harley-Davidson V-Rod with a 330 wide rear wheel kit. They chose the Night Rod Special, a perfect base, which already comes standard with an inverted front fork and a powerful 120 horsepower engine.

The exhaust system, license-plate holder, body parts, fenders, seat and countless small elements are some of the components handcrafted by LDK. A wide rear-wheel kit, a new swingarm, transmission offset, shock absorber spacers, and a Legend air suspension are also worth highlighting. Also noteworthy is that the brake discs and transmission pulley match the wheels; the LED taillight has been integrated into the fender.

Francisco took the liberty of adding gloss black and gold to the colour palette and began to create a design that didn’t break the elegance of this customised Harley-Davidson. It is worth noting that the painting and airbrushing of this spectacular modified Harley—its golden lines, the dates with Roman numerals (all of them with a very special meaning), and a beautiful central shield below the odometer—were at the request of the owner.

The seat upholstery was made with diamond-shaped stitching with gold thread; and shields engraved in aged brass have been added with the same logo as the air-box cover.
