Web Spinner Mainframe Custom Motorcycle

The streets are enhanced by this motorcycle’s presence. It's a ride that’s more than capable of being a winner in the cool street-custom department…

ADAM at Mainframe Custom Cycles designed and built this custom motorcycle with its many webbing additions. I’m sure the owner doesn’t suffer from arachnophobia.

The thick-single-down-tube Softail-styled frame (modified by Mainframe Custom Cycles) is from KraftTech. It houses the potent 127-cubic-inch El Bruto motor by Ultima.

The 49-mm Mikuni carburettor is fitted with a custom chrome-billet-and-mesh air-cleaner complete with spider. Emitting the unwanted gasses into the atmosphere is the 2-into-1 Vance & Hines pollution enhancers. The rest of the power plant is all Ultima. The spark duties are where the Ultima electronic ignition plays its part.

Grunt is relayed to the rear via the six-speed right-side gearbox, then the open-primary belt-drive carrying a 3.5-inch belt, both from Ultima. A final drive sees a custom set-up by HHI — it’s a Sprotor, all in as one, four-spotter, chrome billet caliper, custom rotor-pulley and belt.

The chrome-billet front-end is by American Suspension; the custom, web, chrome-billet 21-inch rim is shod with an Avon Cobra tyre. Fitted to the front rim and pulling up this street custom is the not-so-common but clever 360, internal-brake set-up. The hexagonal chrome-billet headlight takes care of the night duties. The steering duties belong to the custom-made BR bars; cables are internal. They have been accessorised by Accutronix grips, Custom Cycle Controls levers and billet LED digital mirrors.

The 18-inch rear rim  is 10.5-inches wide shod with a 300 Avon Cobra tyre. The rear guard was modified to suit with more webbing being prolific; it comes from KraftTech. The custom seat is embossed leather finished in red and black held together with heavy leather stitch work.

The stretched fuel and the oil tanks are more from KraftTech. The gear change is courtesy of the custom-made forward-controls. The mini Western LED indicators at the rear are more than bright enough.

The paintwork involved two parties: the frame was prepped and painted in metal flake red; it was then given to Mat Egan who laid down the House of Kolor candy-red paint bestowing all the sheet metal with an array of murals. The result works well indeed making this sweet custom more than a worthy candidate for the streets and a great addition to the fleet of bikes built at Mainframe Custom Cycles with Adam at the helm!
