Vida Custumbre Harley-Davidson Sportster & Lindah
Nathan & Lindah live and breathe the Vida Custumbre (Custom Life)
I’VE BEEN an airbrush artist for the better part of 10 years so bikes and custom work is in my veins; so the want and need for me to build a bike came naturally, and that it did with my first bike, a 1984 Yamaha SR250 chopped, painted and bobbed (Golden Arts Bobber).
Once finished the itch began to start for a bigger bike, a real bike, so the purchase of a 2005 Sportster came at the right price. Within a week the custom work began, starting with a rough idea of wanting to be different and still keeping it a tasteful head-turner.

The guards, tank and bars have been resprayed in tangerine candy over a silver base with a satin clear. They are bordered by a silver leaf design; outlined by a thin black pinstripe. There is a large pinstriped design on the tank and also a portrait of anti-Christ complete with Mexican moustache. The rear guard has another big pinstripe design and praying hands with a knuckle-duster hanging from rosemary beads. And the front guard also got a smaller pinstripe design to fill the blank.
The engine, frame, wheels and accessories were all painted in a high gloss black. The exhaust is handmade out of stainless steel; it’s a 2-into-1 system with orange heat-wrap.

The bike is lowered about 3.5 inches. The seat is a Le Pera Bare Bones seat.
The key and coil have been relocated to look neater, and the tank has been lifted to hide the wiring above the frame. The turn signals and tailight have been upgraded to LED lights.
The hangers are another handmade piece on the bike; 16 inches high and narrow to fit the look of the bike.
Thanks to Deon from LCR, Brad from Hypacustoms and Lindah for the great modelling with my bike.

I WAS born in Sydney, and while I like the city life, the Gold Coast is where I live now and I love it! The beaches and lifestyle really agrees with me along with the fantastic weather. I’m 20-years-old and have been modelling since I was 16. I have a full-time-job working behind the bar at a nightclub here on the Coast which is a great job as I get to meet all types of interesting people.

Modelling is a true passion of mine. When I was younger, I started modelling fashion, but as I got more experienced, I have been concentrating on modelling lingerie and swimwear.
The Ozbike shoot was great fun! This is the third time I have done a shoot with Rod. We just seem to work in well together and know what to do to get the images that we both like!
Nathan’s bike is cool! To be honest, I don’t know much about Harley-Davidsons but I can appreciate the work Nathan has put into his bike.
