URAL sidecar motorcycles are the world’s most popular sidecar motorcycle.
Previously, two-wheel-drive (2WD) Ural sidecars were only available in countries which drive on the right side of the road, with left-hand-side sidecars. It was all about the diff being on the right-side of the rear wheel, so the drive-shaft to the sidecar wheel could only run out the right-side.
Ural has finally managed to engineer a left-hand version so that you can now get a 2WD model in Australia.
As an introduction to our Australian market, the Ural Gear Up 2WD will be available in its own unique colour: Outback Orange. RRP AUD starting from $27,990 excluding on-road costs.
The Ural Gear Up 2WD is perfect for off-road adventures. If you find a loose, slippery surface while crossing a river, climbing a bank, descending a steep downhill or just crossing a wet boggy patch, with the simple flip of the 2WD lever, both rear wheels will dig in to keep you on the move.
Ural sidecars are happy cruising between 100 and 120 km/h. 749 cc engine combined with powerful low-end torque is the perfect size to compliment the steering dynamics of the all steel sidecar.
In addition to a four-speed transmission, every Ural comes with a mechanical reverse gear. Reverse can be engaged using the lever located above the right-side rider foot-rest.
