
Street Custom Harley-Davidson Gas Huffer
You wouldn’t know this was once a 2008 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy — what a standout ride it’s morphed into — as some of its unique features may not be obvious at first glance, but once seen, you wonder how you missed them the first time around.
CREDIT goes to Brandon from Allme Customs (AMC) for turning this stock Harley-Davidson Fat Boy into a street-custom Gas Huffer. Based in the outer region of Bacchus Marsh, about a 45-minute squirt down the Western Highway from the Melbourne CBD, Brandon has proven skills, everything from design, fabrication, wrenching, painting, welding, and the list goes on, to be able to build complete custom bikes from start to finish. He’s not a one trick pony; far from it; he’s already built some incredible rides.
Brandon bought the bike about six years ago and trundled around on it until an air cleaner bolt came off and made its way into the obvious and smashed the top of the piston. Over a period of years, the bike became a work-in- progress, until he finally decided to make it what you see today.
The H-D frame was slightly tweaked into a lay frame. This cradles the 103-cube Twin Cam engine built by Brandon filled with the likes of S&S cams, port and polished heads, 40-thou-over pistons and a HyperGear Turbocharger.



Feeding the fuel is H-D fuel injection. Spark duties are fulfilled by the Stealth Super top-mount ignition. Emitting the unwanted spent gasses is via the custom, heat-taped pipes by AMC.
Relaying what’s on offer to the rear is courtesy of the H-D five-speed gearbox fitted with a Barnett clutch; continuing the transfer of power to the final drive is chain and sprocket.
The front-end is a combination of H-D and Platinum Air suspension adding seven degrees to the rake. A 26-inch Rocker front rim shod with a white-walled Shinko tyre sits between the H-D fork legs. Above the H-D headlight are 20-inch, internal-cabled Gangster Ape bars fitted with Switchblade levers and custom grips. The front guard is a custom job by AMC. Stopping power at the front sees a Wilwood caliper squeezing on a 15-inch Jagged Cut disc.



Rear rim is an 18-inch version of the front one enveloped by a white-walled Avon tyre. Rear brake is a Sprotor set-up using a Wilwood caliper and sprocket.
The swingarm is made of billet; rear guard is by AMC complete with H-D struts; running boards also by AMC. And helping to smack this ride to the ground at the rear is via Platinum Air.
Both the fuel and oil tanks are from H-D. Comfort factor sees a custom seat made by Truline Trimming using Alcantara suede and CNC embroidering; taillight is LED.




That unique paint job is all in-house by AMC using Brandon’s own unique style — a combination of copper candy and polished copper flake, copper and silver leaf — giving it a stand-out finish. It’s one of the most unusual and amazing paint jobs I’ve ever seen. It really draws you in and you can’t help but ask how and what?
There’s also a very healthy dose of engraving throughout this street custom applied by Ash from Vicla Vida Engraving.




Brandon truly has come up with a unique ride with a finish that oozes style and substance. It really shows just how talented in execution, commitment and fulfilment to the final result Brandon is with his multitude of skills and talent.
