Pulford Purple Stunner Motorcycle
This is another example of the stunning bikes coming out of the Nation’s Capital.
ThIS Purple Stunner was built from the ground up. Byron, the lucky owner, and the guys at Pulford Race Engines, put a lot of effort into sourcing the best available parts; otherwise, the parts were all made in-house.
The frame started life as a 280 rigid with a 40-degree rake. It was originally made by Scotty’s Choppers who also supplied the oil and fuel tanks, and the rear guards and struts. The front guard was made by Malibu Custom.

The wheels and four-spot calipers were made by Performance Machine. The rear wheel is 10.5 x 18 inches; the front 2.5 x 21 inches; both shod with Metzeler rubber. The sprodor (disk and sprocket) and headlight are art from DNA.
The steering is supplied by Burleigh Bars; all controls came from Attitude; Mean Street 50 mm forks were fitted to the front-end.

The engine is a 124-cubic-inch, S&S Super Sidewinder with Ness nose-cone. The exhaust was custom made by Brian Dunbar (ACT). The sparks are compliments of a Crane single-fire ignition. Pulford Race Engines manufactured the air intake.
RSD (right side drive) is through a Baker six-speed gearbox.
Tod from Kick Ass Kustom was responsible for dressing the bike in her purple colour.

Byron assures me that his Purple Stunner rides as good as it looks. Knowing Peter Pulford’s bike building ability, I don’t doubt it… and… she just looks stunning…
