Pride & Joy Harley-Davidson Fatty

THIS is my father’s ’07 Fatty which was featured in your magazine Issue #344 under the title ‘Bad Influence’ a few years back. Since then it’s been completely overhauled after an unfortunate accident involving and elderly gentleman who shouldn’t be driving.

I know he’d love to see it in there again.

Pride and joy is an understatement when he talks about this. At this moment in time it has accumulated 45-plus awards for Best Harley, Paint, People’s Choice, etc.

Custom paint by Joe Webb at Bad Image; Rooklyn wheels, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, by Renegade; matching pulley and rotors; Burleigh 2-inch Roller Bars; flush-mount gas cap and fuel gauge; under perch and fender mount blinkers; chrome swing-arm; Legend air-ride suspension; motor chromed out; Bennett clear vision derby cover; chrome tail light; curved lay-down number-plate holder; HHI triple tree with 4-degree rake; 2-inch-over Progressive springs, hidden front axle; freight train headlight nacelle with Day Maker headlight; chrome switch-blocks and braided lines; Wimmer twin spikes air filter; and heaps more than that.

It’s pretty much easier to list the things still standard. This build’s taken probably eight years in total being as it was still ridden every weekend until dad bought his 2018 Road King as well as my mother’s Fat Boy. In total there’s three Harley-Davidsons in our shed all far from stock.
