Jacko’s Corey Ness Jackpot Motorcycle
“I would like to thank my wife for letting me throw dollar after dollar into customising my bike,” said Jacko.
JACKO bough his Corey Ness Victory Jackpot brand new in 2010, and even though he was happy with the performance and looks of the bike in its stock form, he still longed for that little extra something to stay ahead of the rest.
Lloydz Motorworkz in the USA offer a huge range of parts and performance accessories for motorcycles so Jacko gave them the nod when it came time to make up his shopping list. Lloydz items included 116-cube big-bore kit, high-lift valve springs, torque tube intake with nitrous hook-up, reprogrammed ECU with extended rev-limiter (6400) and timing adjustments, ¼ turn throttle ring, adjustable timing wheel (for more refined timing), primary support plate, and a Lloydz and S&S combo variable pressure clutch plate. Also on the shopping list was a K&P stainless-steel micronic oil filter.
The cylinders and heads were shipped off to Lloydz where they received the larger capacity re-sleeve treatment and the heads ported and polished with a three-angle valve job. Once all the parts arrived back in the land of Oz, it was full steam ahead with the rebuild that also included a set of VM1-HP-DR street grind cams.
With motor back in the bike, a set of Conquest Customs GP111’s Ground Pounder exhaust pipes were fitted as well as a Conquest Customs/Penske adjustable race shock to better handle the atrocious Queensland roads. The roar from the pipes is something you gotta hear to really appreciate. His neighbours must love him!
Apart from the hot up on the motor the bike is still fairly stock, but even in its current form, the Corey Ness Jackpot commands a huge amount of respect as it sits.
A set of MBW LED wrap-around indicators front and rear are a tidy alternative to the stock items and finish the bike off nicely.
Jacko also has a clean-looking nitrous kit for the bike, but due to some ridiculous legislation, if he gets caught with the bottle mounted on the bike, it will leave a huge hole in his pocket where his wallet used to live. Still looked great when he bolted it on for the pics though!

A big thanks goes to Lisa, from the 4017 Bar and Grill at Sandgate in Brisbane’s bayside, for allowing us to shoot the pics around the hotel which had lived its 122 years as a post office before being converted to a bar and grill a couple of years ago.
