Harley-Davidson Blackline Fever Motorcycle

This Harley-Davidson is one ripper custom bike! The builder really knows his stuff…

THIS Twin Cam Blackline is Craig’s first Harley-Davidson. The mixture of Genuine Harley, Performance Machine (PM) and Roland Sands Design (RSD) accessories blend beautifully to give the bike a black dominating look with a splash of chrome and polished metal.

Mark Walker from Queensland Motorcycle Panel & Paint did the paint work and it looks spectacular with the silver-leaf polished-stripe breaking the rear guard, front guard, oil tank and fuel tank. All the powder-coating was done by Roberto’s Custom Powder in Brisbane and is matched beautifully.

Stuart Henry from the Gold Coast fitted the S&S cams to the engine along with the Race Tuner.

The air cleaner is Fast Air from PM; the pipes are No Limit from Germany. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound from these ceramic coated short pipes — they are loud but still maintained the Harley sound.

The cylinder heads are from a Cross Bones Softail to give the engine the blacked-out look. The pushrod covers are cleverly powder-coated black to show off the chrome join towards the top of the covers.

The front and rear wheels are PM Heathens. The front is 21-inches and the rear is an 18-inches with a 200 Metzeler tyre. The wheels have matching brake rotors to keep the theme flowing with the matching pulley.

The rear strutless custom guard was modified and profiled to suit the 200 tyre by Stuart. The rear guard on a custom bike can make or break the look… this guard really makes it! The rear has adjustable air suspension and looks hot when the guard is lowered down to the tyre.

Stuart fitted PM brake calipers, a PM Apex Contrast headlight and PM grips. RSD has a good look in here with the see-through derby and cam covers. Also the master cylinder tops are RSD as is the fuel tank cap.

The levers, pegs, shift arm and shift linkage are Harley-Davidson.

The seat was done by MC Roadrunner and works beautifully with the style of this bike.

The Badland mirrors have the digital speedo and tacho readout. The fuel gauge is a very smart looking unit by Dakota Digital. Stuart fabricated the bracket to tuck the fuel gauge in between the seat and fuel tank. Roberto’s powder-coated the bracket. The front of the mirrors has the LED indicators.

At the rear, the tail lights and indicators are by Cycle Vision. Mark colour-matched the light surround to the rear guard. The indicators are tiny LEDs with a very bright light for the size of them.

The attention to detail on this bike is outstanding, something I’m sure Craig and Stuart had thought out for many hours to get the look they have achieved!

Craig would like to thank Stuart for making his dream bike a reality and he also would like to thank everyone else involved as well…
