Ghost Tribal Chopper

“There’s nothing better than riding down a road, and you look over, and your dad, brother and mates are riding with you,” said Josh.

I HAD A passion for bikes from a young age. I used to watch my dad and his mates ride off on their bikes and I knew that was going to be me one day. I started riding when I was about three years old when my dad threw me on a Pee Wee 50, pushed me off and away I went. Haven’t stop riding since.

I still remember the first time I rode a Harley. I was only 15 years old and I used to take my dad’s bike out when he wasn’t home… sorry dad! My brother and I both had Harleys before we were 21. My first bike was a custom Softail with a 200 wide-arse end, three-inch open-primary and big ape-hangers. I thought I was killing it.

I always wanted to build a custom chopper from ground up but never found a frame that I liked until I came across this bike on the Gold Coast. I knew this was my bike. I had to have it no matter what! The bike needed a bit of work! It didn’t run and was a shit colour. So I bought the bike and took it home and pulled it completely to pieces the next day.

The bike had to be completely stripped down so my brother and I could paint the frame and swingarm.

I sent the tanks and guards over to a now good friend of mine, Nathan Bilsborough, who was highly recommended to do all the airbrush work. I told him exactly what I wanted and he gave it to me with his artistic touch; there is a lot more detail on the bike than seen in most of the pics. The bike has ghost flames over the black, and ghost tribal through the purple. It really stands out in the sunlight. The main design I wanted on the bike was a hot chick with big tits holding a 45 pistol. In my opinion, he nailed it on the head. I wanted the bike to stand out from the rest and it does!

My bike sits on a big 250 arse-end by 18-inch rear wheel and matching 21-inch billet front wheel.

Motor is 80 cube (1340 cc) with a little work, cam, five-speed box, custom drag pipes so you can hear me coming.

There has been a lot of money spent on custom extras but best of all is the adjustable air suspension so I can dump it on its arse!

Some people think it’s crazy—the money and time people spend on their bikes—but I do it because when I’m out on my chopper, it’s the only time I can forget about all my worries and just ride.
