Elite Motorcycle Triumph Bobber Upgrade
"The exercise was to show people that with a few small things the standard Triumph Bobber could be a real head turner," said Grant.
WE started with the standard Triumph Bobber and added all Triumph genuine parts. We changed the standard handlebars to clip-ons, used the number plate relocation kit, added a swing-arm bag and the brown Statement seat.
The bike was originally Ironstone in colour and just didn’t look right. A friend, Shawn Schmidt (Terry Wilkie Smash Repairs), suggested that he could paint it and came up with the colour which we all agreed just finished it off.
For the record, the guy in the picture is actually me. The bike has been my baby throughout the build and I think my boss at Elite Motorcycles in Toowoomba is a bit sick of me riding it but you get that… lol. It is a fun bike to ride.
