Diary of the 10 Day Ride

WE left MacKay on Sunday but only went to Rockhampton to a mate’s place. On Monday we picked up two more mates so now there are seven of us; we are staying the night near Monto. Tuesday we travelled through Warrick, Toowoomba, Tenterfield, and stayed the night at Glenn Innis

Wednesday we arrived at Tamworth and had a drink at the Longyard Hotel to catch up with Ricko before travelling on to Werris Creek to my parent’s home, having a get together and staying overnight. Thursday saw us visit the Powerhouse Motorcycle Museum in Tamworth, before we took the road across to Dorrigo then down the range to Coffs Harbour.

Friday took us to Byron Bay and then on. On Saturday we rode up to Nimbin and the back way to Mawoolanbah and up to Nambor were we stayed the night. Sunday and it was onward to Rockhampton. Monday had us back at home in MacKay. 3000 km all up—eight days is not long enough.
