Women-Only Garage Party (NSW); 28 November. Female motorcycle riders & enthusiasts are welcome to join Sy’s Harley-Davidson from 6 pm for hands-on tips & seminars on key areas of motorcycling basics. The free-to-attend public event will give women the chance to “talk bikes” in a female-friendly environment. From seasoned bikers to those who are new to the idea of riding, all local women are invited to join the dealership’s team of experts to learn about motorcycling, safety & clothing. Attendees will have the opportunity to try on all the latest motorcycle gear, including leather jackets, helmets, gloves & boots, as well as sit on the motorcycles to find the perfect match. Long Flat Pub Run (NSW); 28—29 November. Live bands Friday night. Saturday all day: live bands, bike show & shine, burnouts. No BYO. No colours. No attitude.
Geelong Revival Motoring Festival (Vic); 28—30 November. The largest Historic Sprints event in Australia. The jam packed schedule will begin on Friday evening with the inaugural Geelong Revival Motoring Festival City Cruise. The cavalcade of unique cars & bikes will parade their way through the streets of the Geelong CBD, finishing up at the picturesque waterfront precinct. Saturday & Sunday’s program is filled with all things motoring. The historic quarter-mile sprints will see more than 300 classic & exotic cars & motorcycles speed down Ritchie Boulevard at full throttle. Past, present & future racing legends will get on the track to compete for the coveted Geelong Revival Motoring Festival Trophy. Along with this, more than 500 vehicles will be on show along Geelong‘s waterfront in the Shannons Classic Motorshow. Both motorcycles & cars will be judged in a variety of categories & awards will be presented accordingly.

25th Annual Wollongong Toy Run (NSW); 6 December. Leaves 10.30 am sharp from cnr Shellharbour Road & Addison Street, Shellharbour; travelling to Wollongong Lower Mall (Crown Street). Gippsland Motorcyclists Toy Run (Vic); 6 December. Meet for breakfast from 9.30 am; depart at 11 am. Travel through Traralgon, Morwell & end at Old Gippstown, Moe, for lunch & handover of toys. Proceeds to the Salvos & St Vinnies. All enquiries: 0412-313-168.
Christmas Rally (NSW); 6—7 December. Gates open Friday. Approx 4 km south of Nerriga on the Nowra/Braidwood Road. 50 acres of land with plenty of camping & firewood with a bonfire on Saturday night (fire bans permitting). Refreshments & food available. If it all gets too hot go for a swim down in the creek. Gymkhana at 3 pm on Saturday; trophies presented on Sunday at 8 am. Newcastle Toy Run & Family Fun Day (NSW); 7 December. Start 10 am from Stockton foreshore park (ferry terminal); finish Newcastle foreshore park. 25 km ride; the only police & RMS escorted ride in Australia, now in its 36th year, making it the oldest continuous toy run in the country. After the ride there will be The Salvation Army Fun Day at Newcastle Foreshore; last year 18000 people attended. Toy Run & Ride To Work Day In Melbourne (Vic); 7 December. Three runs will head for Father Bob’s in Victoria Avenue, Albert Park. No registration. No fees. Just roll up. Decorated bikes & fancy dress adds to the carnival atmosphere. All welcome. Father Bob helps lots of people so donations are important to his work. Toys are good gifts. So are clothes. But tinned food is great. A can of bean means a feed for someone who might go without otherwise. And donations of even a single coin are very gratefully received. The assembly areas are: MORDIALLOC. Donations of new unwrapped gifts suitable for children would be appreciated. Why not decorate your bike & add to the spectacle. Biker Events in February 2015 Bathurst Street & Custom Motorcycle Show (NSW);7 February. 9 am—3 pm in Russell Street Road Closure. Last year 280 motorcycles & riders of all descriptions attended to make this show very appealing for the thousands of locals who attended. General admission is free. Riders entering the formal competition can pay $10 on the day or enter the rally awards for free. A focus this year will be the growing momentum for a second racetrack in Bathurst.
