You can buy a copy of Ozbike #418 directly from us & we’ll pay the postage (Australia only).
Just curious. Does anybody actually go to a newsagent anymore? Do they still sell newspapers (I read the news on my phone each morning) and raffle tickets? (I buy mine on my phone each morning). Gord, you can even buy birthday cards on-line.
Seems to me that buying Ozbike directly from us is a no-brainer. It doesn’t cost you any more and it gets delivered directly to your door before the newsagents get them.
Last issue (#417), at the last moment, just before it went off to the printers, I decided to upgrade the paper and go perfect-bound (no staples).
The result was interesting: the heavy-weight, glassy art paper lifted the images off the page; it looked sensational; however, because the artwork had been done for a stapled magazine, all the larger images didn’t quite fit together properly across the middle gutter.
This issue I’ve stayed with the art paper and perfect bound but I’ve taken a different approach to the artwork.
I’d love to hear what you think of the new format. Like it or not, drop me an email: email@example.com
