MAKING A name for himself on the custom bike scene is Brett Radford from 2Tone Motor Trimming, Walliston, WA. Brett’s been turning heads with his quality auto upholstery, but as far as custom bike seats go, he’s stitched together some standout creations for Harleys or whatever keeps your arse from skidding along the tarmac. The latest fully custom designs come with a twist—the stitching is charged by light and will glow in the dark. Pictured here is a V-Rod seat with a double diamond stitch, but come night, it sees off the white-bread Bruce Banner hue and turns an angry Hulk green.

As well as the usual leather and vinyl, Brett also uses embossed fabrics like crocodile and snake skins, as well as suede.

Making life even easier for his customers are a bunch of exchange core seats in the shop ready to be stitched up and sent back on receiving your standard seat. You can either drop it off or mail it in. Simple.

Everything is available from foam shaping, diamond stitching, pinstripe stitching, computer generated embroidery, French stitch, top stitch, grom-mets and metal eyelets (as seen on Bagzilla Tricks last issue) that now also come with LED lighting. Custom one-off aluminum bases are also available if your bike frame doesn’t quite suit the standard seat bases anymore.
